FLORENCE, SC - The Pee Dee IceCats announced that the team has acquired goaltender Breandan Colgan from the Watertown Wolves in exchange for future considerations.
The 30-year-old Colgan is a former FPHL Goaltender of the Year, and also holds the league records for most consecutive shutouts (4), longest shutout streak (259:41), and most shutouts in a single season (7) in league history. He has also been named a league first-team all-star.
The IceCats travel to Columbus to take on the River Dragons this Friday at 7:35 pm, with the Powers Properties Pregame Show kicking off at 7:20 pm on the IceCats Broadcast Network.
