PEE DEE BOILS LOBSTERS

ATHENS, GA - The Pee Dee IceCats scored three goals in the first 2:01 of the third period to blow open a 3-2 hockey game, going on to win Game One of the Continental Division Semifinal 802 over the Athens Rock Lobsters on Friday night.

Alex Legkov led the way with a goal and four assists, including the game-winning goal at 9:25 of the second period. In all, five players had multi-point games and 13 of the 16 skaters dressed for Pee Dee recorded at least a point.

Breandan Colgan made 43 saves for the win and third star honors, while the IceCats chased Athens starter Carter McPhail by scoring six goals against on 30 shots. William Lavalliere mopped up in relief, stopping 9-of-11 shots against.
